cindyborderHi. I want to introduce myself. My name is Cindy Wines and I love animals. I have 5 rescue dogs and 3 cats and I am passionate about helping to prevent any type of animal abuse, even to rats and mice in the laboratories.

montana

Here is a picture of our beautiful Montana. She was born on a ranch in Kalispell, Montana. She is a Border Collie. She was a working dog. She never got to work with sheep or cows on a ranch but she traveled with us in our RV for 7 years. We lived on Flathead Lake in beautiful Bigfork Montana for 10 years. The Winters were dark and dreary with no sun and lots of snow. My husband is a sun person so we started traveling south for the Winter in our RV to Palm Desert, California.

montana2

We bought Montana from the ranch when she was 12 weeks old. We picked her out of a litter of 7 pups. She was the only black and white one and she looked us right in the eye and barked, “take me”. She was a good dog. She loved to catchthe ball in mid air and we called her our “Baseball Border Collie”. She loved to work and please us. We found out she had cancer in her lymphnoids. A very aggressive kind in June of 2007. We had her go to chemo for 2 months but we put her down and this picture is when we discovered two days after testing that she had it. Here she stands proud, even though she was very sick. Ready to go to work, as always. We have her ashes by our bed.  Montana enjoyed trips to  Mt. Lemmon to escape the heat for a cool refreshing day of play in the forest. She was 10 years old when she died and she had a great life full of fun and traveling.

cuddles

This is Cuddles and we rescued her from a a family that had 3 kids in Kalispell, Montana.

They were chasing her, trying to pull her tail. She was only 10 months old and she weighed 6 lbs. She was an outdoor cat and they did not care about whether she lived or died. She jumped into my arms, started purring and I took her away. You can see she is very happy and just turned 7 years old in April. She is our little "love kitty". That's why we call her Cuddles.

kittyThis is Miss Kitty. She is 16 years old and she was our first pet when we moved to Montana in October of 1995. A neighbor went door to door to find a home for her. She had been left behind by travelers and was 6 months old.  Our neighbors found her in a wood pile. She has had an attitude every since we got her. She is a beautiful Ragdoll. Though a little miffed when we got Montana, our Border Collie,  a few years later but she put up with her. Here she is sitting in her favorite chair. She loves her dollop of whip cream in the morning. She is a good girl, does not like to be pet too long or she bites you.

Still healthy and persnickety.

tresThis is Tres. She is the third kitten we found in our backyard in the back hoe when the construction workers were finishing our landscaping. We had names the 3  one week old kittens, Uno, Dos and Tres. Tres was the runt. We had the 3 of them in a shoebox. She was very vocal and would never stay in the shoe box. She still does not like to be held today and growls when you get close to her food. She is a ferrel cat. We found homes for Uno and Dos who turned out to be part BobCat. Cuddles and Tres love to play and Miss Kitty wants nothing to do with either of them. She loves fresh shrimp and will purr and rub up against my husband Rocky to get a piece. She becomes very sweet and flirty and she will get her shrimp that way. She also paws at my husbands stomach to get her shrimp.

mollyThis is Molly. She came a few days after we had Montana, our Border Collie,  put to sleep. I was not ready for another dog but I was looking for a playmate for Ginger. We had gotten Ginger when she was only 3 months old from the Humane Society. I wanted to prepare myself that I was losing Montana and her cancer was very aggressive and the vet said she would not last long. The gal who came to pick up Montana for cremation and asked if I knew of anyone who would take a very sweet dog. Her name was Molly. The couple who owned her was getting a divorce. He was going to Iraq and she was just going to put her down. She is a very somber dog. She is very smart, very serious and did not want to play with our 4 month old pup, Ginger. I was going to wait but Dorothy had said “her clock is ticking” and they will put her down this weekend. I felt horrible and took her in. She was 6 years old at the time. She is a very good dog and loves to eat. .

gingerWe found Ginger when she was only 3 months old from the Humane Society. I wanted to prepare myself that I was losing Montana and her cancer was very aggressive and the vet said she would not last long. When I met Ginger at the Humane Society, she  was trembling and so scared.

I held her to me and told her "it would be OK". She bonded to me right away. She was so good to Montana when she was sick. Usually puppies are full of energy but she knew when to leave Montana alone because she was sick and tired from the Chemo. When we had to put Montana  to sleep and we had her on the cool grass, little Ginger was only 6 months old and she laid by her as she was going to sleep.

Ginger is a Valley girl. She is so beautiful today. She was two years old in January, 2007 and will be 3 in January, 2010. She and Diesel are boyfriend and girlfriend.  We have an acre here and they run and play nipping and chasing each other.

We have a kitty pool where she buries her face and paws in the water like she is searching for fish. We bring her in with Molly at night because she barks at everything. She is a good girl and so sweet.  She has "heart" as you notice the heart around her face. She is my favorite dog. My little Ginger.

corona-gingerThis is Corona, our German Shepard/Lab mix. She is here laying peacefully with Ginger. We were on the internet looking to rescue a German Shepard and heard about her on 104.1 radio. She had been at the shelter for 3 months and “her clock was ticking.” I called my husband and told him to get down there to pick her up. She is very sweet, just lays around and sleeps and gets up once in a while but very lazy. She was 6 when we got her. She jumped up into the car like she had known him all along. She is very gentle and Diesel thinks she is his Mom.

diesel2This is Diesel. I finally found a playmate for Ginger! Ginger was 6 months old when I introduced Diesel to her and he was 6 months old also. VERY shy. If you throw a piece of meat at him, he runs. If you rattle a paperbag at him, he runs. He had been at a gals house penned up in a very small quarters with another lab. We have an acre here and he loves to run and play with Ginger. He twirls around and plays ball with her. He is like a black stallion. His fur is sleek and his muscles ripple in the sun as he runs back and forth on our acre, with Ginger. He's a good boy, a good watchdog even though he is very scared of the stranger. He is  very sweet and it takes a month for him to come up to a stranger to let them touch him. He thinks Corona is his Mom and loves her very much. He has accepted our new male dog, Spot. He is very big and powerful but very gentle.

spot

Here is Spot, our newest addition. I am giving him a birthday of October 1st when we  lost our Border Collie, Montana, two years ago.

Spot was rescued from a guy who could care less about him. He is 1 year old and part Blue Heeler and Australian Shepard. He was chained up and in a small fenced enclosure with no place to run. Working dogs like to run. They like to have a job. Spot’s food was bread and some wieners filled with ants. His water was dirty

It gets cold up in Globe, AZ. I felt sorry for him. He has a great personality and he is a good boy. He was very skinny and I am working on getting him fatter. He has gotten our lazy old Corona and Molly to play which is amazing. He also loves Ginger. So now she has two boyfriends! He has plenty of room to run now. I gave him a birthday of October 1st since that is when we had to put our Border Collie, Montana to sleep, due to cancer. That was two years ago. Spot  starts agility on Saturday, November 14th and I know he will love it!

kids

Here I am with all my furry kids. I love my dogs and wish that humans treated them equally. They know I love them and if I could have the elephants and tigers in my backyard, I would give them the same love.

That is why I am so passionate about doing what I can to make you and your friends aware of the abuse that occurs every day in the circus with the elephants who are so big and victims of being chained 20 hours a day. No socializing, no fresh air, munching on grass and trees, swimming in the lakes and rolling around in the mud. The tigers are in the same situation where they are also abused and forced to jump through rings of fire. Why do the circus keepers hit them everyday with the bullhooks and sticks? They are intelligent, loving, social creatures that don’t forget. See www.peta.org Ringling Circus.
Send me your name and address. I can meet you online in my web room to show you a way to create residual income that goes each month to feeding, caring and nurturing all of the wonderful animals at PAWS.
Passion for Free The Elephants and Save the Children from abuse. Donations will also be given to Emerge, a local abuse center dedicated to saving women and children from abusive homes here in southern Arizona.

They are intelligent, loving, social creatures that don’t forget. All of the animals are abused and kept in hot trailers traveling from town to town. They have feellings, they like freedom. How would you like it if you were treated like this? The humans would rebel like you see the elephants rebel. Then they are shot and it is sad for everyone.

One person can make a difference. If you join me, we can make a difference by helping PAWS (Performing Animal Welfare Society) in Galt, California with their enormous and expensive job of taking care of all these abused animals who are now living in peace at her wonderful sanctuary. If you donate anything you can to their website www.pawsweb.org or become a part of my program which donates 5% of any of your grocery purchases each month from my Wellness company, every little bit will help. They are building new fences for the Bull Elephants. Bob Barker has donated $3 Million dollars of his own money to help with their effort. See Bucks for Bulls. Every dollar makes a difference. If 100 people donated a dollar, that builds a foot of fence.
Pat Derby and her partner Ed Stewart are wonderful people who have dedicated themselves to saving all the animals in the circuses from abuse.  We are truly blessed to have them as friends and allies for the majestic elephants and tigers that should be roaming free in Africa.  Read the stories, watch the videos and become a part of my solution. See www.pawsweb.org.

earthThank you for your time and interest. I hope you are loving and taking care of your kids, your pets. PAWS  and Gabriel's Angels  work so hard to make the world a better place and if we all work together, we can achieve this. The children need your love and affection.  These elephants, tigers and bears eat alot of food and need alot of care and attention. They all need your love.  Your donations can help. Even $20 can make a difference. Send this website to your family and friends and tell them not to take their kids to the circus. They have banned animal circuses in South America and we need to do the same here in the U.S. and Canada! Go to your local shelter and bring home a puppy or kitten. Give them a loving home. There are way too many animals that are euthanized. Get your pets spayed or neutered. There are discount clinics everywhere.

If we can appreciate our animal friends, respect the earth and all of his goodness, respect each other, we will have a better earth. If you are interested in using safer, non toxic products that are eco friendly around your kids, your pets and the earth, see this website and we can help you with monthly donations and even your financial and personal wellness too.
